A Divine Appointment

I'm grateful for...
A loving husband who has been a wonderful father to our 3 children
Sewing...
one day soon I hope!
I'm reading...
The Protein Power Lifeplan by Michael Eades, M.D.
I'm hoping...
my friends in Cinderberry are blessed with peace and joy.
I'm cooking...
Not tonight!  Going out with my one fine man.
I've learned...
to look for God's fingerprints on everything.
I found...
a great purple blouse at Penney's this morning for only $1.99 with coupon.

This morning I went shopping in a mall in northern New Jersey and met a woman who used to live not too far from where I live now.  It was amazing how God had us meet - we may have even met before when she worked in our area.  She told me some things that encouraged my heart...things that I know God wanted me to know...amazing!

Just when you think there is no hope - there's always hope!  Thanks God!!

Tulips in Cape May

My husband and I recently took a trip to Cape May, New Jersey and enjoyed strolling along Washington Street to window shop.  We just HAD to take some pictures of their huge tulips.  Aren't they beautiful?  Spring is such a wonderful time - full of God's beauty everywhere.

When Life Gives You...

You've got to have a sense of humor when married!!!

Yesterday, while my dear husband was still asleep, I left early to do the food shopping.  Since we were away for a week there were lots of staples to buy - eggs, milk, bread....

Well, later in the morning, my husband went out and about, and while running his errands around Georgetown, he stopped and picked up bread, eggs, milk, snacks....

Ha!  What to you do when life gives you too many eggs?  Egg Salad!  Too much milk?  Chocolate pudding!!!

Digital Diary

I visited Linda's blog after she left a kind comment on one of my quilt pictures - and there I discovered that she had set up a digital blog after the style created by the author of The Simple Womans Daybook  blog.

So, I've decided to modify the idea and start my own digital diary - such as it will be.  How fun!

First UFO of the New Year!

Its only January and I've finished my first unfinished object - my mom's quilted purse.  Its a Lazy Girl Design "Towne Purse".  I made one last year for myself. Love all the pockets on the inside - I just extended the handles to 30" each so that you can carry it over your shoulder.
